Casey’s Brewery beer list (8-04-26)
Regular beers
- Titfer – hoppy American style amber ale, featuring a toffee/caramel sweetness on a dry malty background. The hops are American Cascade, Centennial and Chinook. 37 IBU and 5% alcohol.
- Night – a medium bodied black ale with rum’n’raisin chocolate flvaours. Night has a clean slightly dry finish and is moderately bittered to about 22 IBU using Magnum and East Kent Goldings hops. Alcohol is 5%.
- Lounge – a pilsner inspired golden ale. Lounge has a soft biscuity malt character and a light touch of caramel sweetness.The bitterness is about 34 IBU and features lots of late hopping with Czech Saaz. I have fermented Lounge with a soft but attenuative English ale yeast which brings out the hop character. Alcohol is 5%.
- Mexican Ale – very pale, very mellow, full flavoured ale. A better version of Corona. 5.1% alcohol.
- Kölsch – Cologne style golden ale, moderately well bittered, fermented with a genuine Kolsch yeast sourced from a brewpub in Cologne.
- Jamison Lager – a pale German style lager brewed with German hops and yeast. A light and clean biscuity malt profile, medium body and moderately bittered with a floral and spicy hop aroma from Hallertau mittelfruh hops. Alcohol 5.2%
- Dark Lager – an elegant central European style dark lager. Medium bodied, light roasted coffee flavours. Bitterness is around 23 IBU and alcohol is 5.1%.
- Tangled XPA – Very pale, light biscuity malt and soft aromatic hopping with Eldorado, Pacific Jade and Galaxy. 5% alcohol.
- Troppo in Hazo – a hazy tropical style pale ale, brewed with a generous addition of oats and fermented with a soft English yeast. Hopped with Cashmere, Mosaic and Cascade. Alcohol is 4.9%.
Small batch & special beers
- Pillow Talk – soft and pillowy hazy IPA, moderately bittered with aromatic hop finish. Alcohol 5.4%
- One Saaz Fits All – a beefed up version of Lounge. Malty and golden and a nice Saaz finish. Alcohol 5.8%.
- Black IPA – Light roast coffee and caramel flavours shine through in this easy drinking Black IPA. Gentle bitterness with a berry like hop character, 5.8% alcohol.
- Stock Ale – The first drawings from the barrel of a stock ale. Oakey, musty and sherry flavours with a gentle tartness. Alcohol is 8.6%. Available by the 145 ml glass, or in a blend at about 20% with either Night or the Dark Lager (middy or schooner). Not available on the tasting paddle..
