Beer list (1-05-25)
Regular beers
- Titfer – hoppy American style amber ale, featuring a toffee/caramel sweetness on a dry malty background. The hops are American Cascade, Centennial and Chinook. 37 IBU and 5% alcohol.
- Night – a medium bodied black ale with rum’n’raisin chocolate flvaours. Night has a clean slightly dry finish and is moderately bittered to about 22 IBU using Magnum and East Kent Goldings hops. Alcohol is 5%.
- Lounge – a pilsner inspired golden ale. Lounge has a soft biscuity malt character and a light touch of caramel sweetness.The bitterness is about 34 IBU and features lots of late hopping with Czech Saaz. I have fermented Lounge with a soft but attenuative English ale yeast which brings out the hop character. Alcohol is 5%.
- Mexican Ale – very pale, very mellow, full flavoured ale. A better version of Corona. 5.1% alcohol.
- Kolsch – Cologne style golden ale, moderately well bittered, fermented with a genuine Kolsch yeast sourced from a brewpub in Cologne.
- Jamison Lager – pale German style lager
- Dark Lager – an elegant central European style dark lager. Medium bodied, light roasted coffee flavours. Bitterness is around 23 IBU and alcohol is 5.1%.
- Tangled XPA – Very pale, light biscuity malt and soft aromatic hopping with Eldorado, Pacific Jade and Galaxy. 5% alcohol.
Small batch & special beers
- Difficult Lover – English style IPA slash pale ESB. Starts sweet and finishes bitter just like a difficult lover. Alcohol 5.8%.
- Red IPA – a fragrant American style Red IPA, deep mahogany colour, caramel notes and rich malt, nicely bittered finishing fragrant from late hopping with Cashmere. Alcohol 5.7%.
- Lemon Myrtle Saison – Franco-Belgian style saison flavoured with an infusion of lemon myrtle leaves.
- Ginger Beer – grain based ginger beer at 4.6% alcohol. Slightly sweet against a drier background with a silky mouthfeel from added oats. The ginger is generous without burning.
- Stock Ale – Aged amber ale with sherry, banana and caramel flavours. Very limited small batch, 14% alcohol.
